Self-taught iOS Engineer using a degree in psychology to talk to hardware.
After graduating from DePaul, I entered a job in the field of psychology doing research and hated it. There was too much politics associated with using grant money, and I did not have the ability to influence decision making.
After a year of being underutilized in that environment, a family friend approached me about learning iOS development. He made a successful career shift and thought I would be a great developer and truly enjoy it. Unhappy with my career path, I decided to make the jump. It has been the best decision in my life. I am truly passionate about the development process. I love collaborating and learning from others. I find the ability to build something both addictive and very fulfilling.
Someone telling me I can't do something inspires me to prove them wrong.
