Vokal is a digital agency working to transform some of the largest incumbent brands into the digital age using growth frameworks. While being successful for over 10 years, Vokal operates as a start up culturally and organizationally. We are looking for hard workers, people willing to leave their ego at the door, add to the organization's growth by adding to the collective knowledge and skill set of the team. Vokal believes that open communication, trust, and flexibility are important, which is why we prioritize a work life balance with unlimited PTO that you are encouraged to take.
The Strategic Growth Manager is a data-driven, growth-minded individual who works with Vokal’s Growth Product Managers and Business Development team to oversee and expand existing client relationships at Vokal. In its simplest form, the role of the Strategic Growth Manager is to understand the client’s business and underlying KPIs and grow the current business by continuing to find future growth opportunities.
Strategic Growth Managers are dedicated to 2-4 different clients. After the handoff from the Business Development team, the SGM owns the relationship with the client. He or she works as a consultant, taking time to gain an understanding of the client’s challenges/needs/goals, analyzing data, and recommending services that will help the business grow. In short, the SGM applies a metrics-driven approach to evaluate where the client is and where they want to go. He or she navigates between internal teams and external clients, representing Vokal’s ideas just as strongly as our clients’ wishes. SGMs help the client and Vokal grow, and they are ultimately responsible for growing revenue from each of their clients.
As a Strategic Growth Manager, you should have a comprehensive understanding of the digital landscape, strong client-relationships skills, and the ability to recommend growth strategies that will impact the bottom line. Ultimately, your goal is to grow existing accounts by fostering a dynamic, long-term partnership with our clients. Day-to-day activities include communicating directly with client stakeholders, participating in internal product meetings, tracking key performance metrics, leading brainstorming sessions, and developing strategic roadmaps.
